An interesting build-up from the premonitory, thoughtful mysteriousness of "Intro", through the relaxed "Birmingham" and fast-paced but still friendly "Teresina", to the unrelenting factory-interior thump of "Xavier".
About my only complaint is the rather abrupt ending. Havoc Crow
Wedding modern electronic beats to 1930's musical styles like jazz and big band, this Belgian band put a unique spin on nostalgic escapism. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 23, 2022
The genesis of ProleteR was my introduction to the world of electro - swing, and suffice to say, I've never looked back. The catchy beats and samples from early to mid 20th century songs combine to form some of the best easy going music I've ever heard. The bonus tracks are also well worth checking out if you like this album, especially Faidherbe Square, which is an excellent piece.
Thank you ProleteR for this amazing EP. Cadesius
